SUMMER TREKKING & BACK-PACKING EXPEDITIONS

We do not normally offer backpacking and trekking expeditions to Greenland as part of our regular programme. However, we do organise such expeditions as individually tailored bespoke trips for private groups wishing to visit the Scoresbysund and surrounding islands region of northeast Greenland. We no longer recommend the Tasiilaq and Kulusuk districts as these areas have become increasingly popular and 'touristy' in recent years!

Following on from our highly successful expeditions to Milne Land and recent experience with Renland we do each summer offer a one off trekking expedition to a  unique area within the inner fjords of Scoresbysund. This summer we will be visiting the northeast corner of Milne Land. This expedition will involve easier grade walks and ascents including possible rock scrambles and may involve glacier travel. However there is also fantastic potential for rock climbing and summer alpine ascents for those who wish to make such ascents in this area. We will normally wait to see the nature of those people most interested in joining this expedition before planning a more detailed itinerary.
